Appleton is proud to announce that Caroline Schmidt, CFA, was named to Smith’s Research & Gradings 2025 All-Star Municipal Analyst Awards as a member of the Rising All-Star Team. In her role of Municipal Research Analyst, Caroline plays an important part in the development and implementation of municipal investment decisions. We are truly proud to watch Caroline grow as a investment professional, whether here as an analyst for Appleton or in the community as a Board Member of the Boston Municipal Analyst Forum.
This award was given on December 3, 2025 by Smith’s Research & Gradings and was based on voting conducted in calendar year 2025. Appleton does not provide compensation to Smith’s Research & Gradings. Nominees for this award were selected by the 2025 Blue Ribbon Ballot Committee. Once finalized, the ballot was sent via email to 1,000 institutional investors for voting.
