Last quarter Appleton’s ACE program was thrilled to partner with Good Sports – a non-profit whose mission is to drive equitable access in youth sports by working with organizations in high-need communities by providing athletic equipment and gear. For the month of May Appleton hosted an online donation drive for Good Sports’ Equip-a-kid program and raised over $2,000. Following up the donation drive, a group from API was on hand at Good Sport’s warehouse for a tour and volunteer shift, helping to organize boxes of athletic equipment for local schools and programs in need. The team inventoried over 10k units of items, which will provide a positive impact for thousands of kids that might not otherwise have the opportunity to play or have access to quality equipment and apparel.
