Appleton Partners with End Hunger New England

This January, Appleton’s Community Engagement program was thrilled to host Matt Martin, NE Development Coordinator for End Hunger New England (EHNE).  Matt’s presentation gave our colleagues a glimpse into the organization and its far-reaching impact.  EHNE is a part of The Outreach Program, a non-profit that organizes food packaging events around the country to support their mission by providing safe water, food, medical care, and education to those in need.  Following the presentation, a group of colleagues visited their Pembroke operation to volunteer. At the warehouse, volunteers create assembly lines to bundle meals, and then weigh, seal and package complete meals for shipment.  API was happy to make a financial contribution that will cover the cost of food for over 2,000 meals. We are incredibly proud of our colleagues for their participation and support of such a worthy cause.
